Shake it up. Acknowledge the pure pleasure in the work I do. I&#8217;ll be sharing funny, happy things in the days to come that I hope will inspire you and make you smile. (For instance, when I saw\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00VZZ0AZY\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my book baby<\/a>\u00a0was on sale this week.)<\/p>\n<p>In writing, I find humor\u00a0is very hard to force, but such a cool surprise when it happens. This moment brought a smile to my face.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHey,\u201d Syd said. \u201cYou been crying?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cNo,\u201d I lied, scowling. Max Allen didn\u2019t deserve my tears, but I guess I gave them up anyway. \u201cMax and I broke up.\u201d Eight days ago.
